Gruffalo Cake

This is the Gruffalo cake that I made for our nephew Leo's birthday!

This was the moment that he first saw the cake
When Dave took the head off to serve the cake Leo got really upset (not surprising really!)

    1. Hi ElisesMummy I believe I used 6" round cakes for the body so I would assume the cake board was 12" in diameter, I hope that helps!

    2. Hi Caroline. Thank you so much. One more question please, how many cakes did you stack for the body, and also the head. I have this cake to make for a friend in a few days and i'm panicking! Thank you very much xx

    3. Hi, it depends on how deep your cakes are...I would estimate 3 for the body and 2-3 for the head. good luck!
