Golf Cake

This design (based on a cake by Heather's Cake) was requested by my client for her father's 70th birthday celebrations at Edgbaston Golf Club.

All fruit cake with the bottom tier decorated with an argyle pattern (which took hours to complete!) and the top tier decorated with a nod towards a golf course and finished with a large 70 and a sugar model of the birthday golfer.

The family are from Ireland hence the Irish flags.

Wedgwood at the venue...

A few snaps of the 'Wedgwood wedding' cake at the venue!

Wedgwood Inspired Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was for the daughter of one of my best clients!

The bride and groom requested a version of a Martha Stewart cake and this was the final design.

The top tier was carrot cake and decorated with small sugar roses.  The middle tier was chocolate mud and piped with a simple stem and leaf design and the bottom tier was fruit cake and decorated with brush embroidered leaves.

A blog post on me?

I am honored to be featured on Rachel Simpson Shoes blog!

Her creations are gorgeous and she's another one of those people that I wish I'd known when I was getting married - I would definitely have bought my wedding shoes from her!

It's a momentus week for me - I'm in Vogue!  The magazine that is, it's not just that I'm popular...
Okay, it is just an advertorial rather than an editorial (yes, I paid to be there!) but it is still quite a thrill to see my company name in Vogue!  We're the first business on the page too - like it.

Vogue is out on the 7th October....

21st Birthday Cake

This cake was commissioned for a 21st birthday celebration.  Gemma gave me a photo of an existing cake that she wanted me to reproduce as it fitted in with her party theme perfectly!
