Lavender and buttermilk cake

This cake was commissioned for a golden wedding anniversary celebration - how wonderful to be married for 50 years!

The bottom tier was fruit with a sponge top tier then covered in buttermilk coloured icing with sprigs of sugar lavender decorating the sides...(the lavender took many many hours to make!)
